The Monumental Sculpture Program is governed by the Port Warwick Foundation, which produces the Annual Port Warwick Art & Sculpture Festival. The Port Warwick Art & Sculpture Festival is a gathering of many of the best, most diverse, and creative artists from across the country. We constantly seek qualified artists who continue to challenge themselves to achieve a higher artistic level both in subject matter and technique.
The Monumental Sculpture Program supports the installation of 10-15 new temporary works of sculpture each year. All chosen pieces are introduced during and as a part of the Port Warwick Art & Sculpture Festival and are designed remain in Port Warwick for up to one year. We strive to select a variety sculptures that are of original design, unique in subject matter, and quality through technique. As new works are introduced into this temporary placement program each year, we seek sculpture that is fresh, works that Hampton Roads area has never seen exhibited in its area. Please view pictures to the left to see current temporary sculpture.

Although we encourage artists to apply to each, as it provides additional opportunities for the artists, we understand that it is not feasable for all artists to do so and therefore is not expected.
